Shantro Buck - Fine Artist

Shantro Buck was born in Los Angeles County in 1979. From an early age, Buck created artwork inspired by animation and cartoons, mostly doodling mustaches on the people so lovingly displayed in the weekly TV Guide. While in high school, he began nude figure drawing classes at Citrus Community College, and later moved on to the American Animation Institute in North Hollywood, as well as Associates in Art, located in Sherman Oaks. He only worked on one film, Nine Dog Christmas (Copyright Warner Brothers 2004). While in his animation phase, he also got ’Top Fifty Finalist’ in the First Annual Simon Wiesenthal Museum of Tolerance ’Expressing Feelings Through Art’ Contest . Buck also started his stay in the Pomona ’Millennium Studio’, were he began to learn painting and tattooing.

Today, Shantro lives in Aurora Colorado, were he continues to develop his tattooing skills and interests.
